About Us


Our story as many started in the kitchen (of a restaurant) and...this is were you can find us today:) We are a Brazilian (chef) and Polish (interior designer with a sweet love to cakes, mousses, biscuits, baking and cooking) couple. We have created "Brasil on the plate" to share the best from the brazilian cuisine with you. We grill, we bake, we cook (a day with no beans is a lost day), we create and learn new things and teach others about the tasty side of Brazil.

Churrasco - Brazilian Style Barbecue

It is a feast of different types of meat grilled on metal skewers by the embers of a charcoal or wooden flame.

Large skewers of various meats are roasted and when ready, chunks are cut off with massive knives. They are usually served with rice, beans or some other side dishes. The essence of churrasco-style grilling is to showcase the flavor of the meat as it is. This is why Brazilian gauchos purposely found ways to roast meat without smoking it, as this alters its natural taste.

Churrasco originated in the southern region of Brazil in the 1800s, originally the cuisine of gauchos— South American Cowboys. Today, churrasco is a way of life and is deeply ingrained into Brazilian culture.
